Thomas Draving is a watercolor artist, painting and selling watercolors in South Florida. His paintings are shown all over South Florida. He enjoys the beaches, the ocean, boating, wildlife and nature.
Thomas Draving was born in Pennsylvania. He studied mechanical design at Spring Garden College in Philadelphia. Thomas was a singer and songwriter in his 20's. While in his 30's he attended the Stone Harbor School of Art in New Jersey. After moving to Florida in 1983 he joined the Gold Coast Watercolor Society for watercolor artists where he continued to study as a watercolor artist. His artwork is shown in fine art galleries throughout South Florida. His Florida paintings are watercolors full of color and design. He enjoys the beaches, seashore, boatyards, the local wildlife and art landscapes. The colors of the ocean, surrounding array of plants and flowers and the architecture at the Florida beaches have inspired his work as an artist. Most of his paintings are a result of his vivid imagination. His watercolors designs vary in composition and very colorful.

Thomas Draving is a resident of Hollywood, Florida, he is a graduate of AEI - The Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute. He has won numerous awards for his paintings including an honorable mention from Gold Coast Watercolor Society, 2nd place in the Hollywood Crossings pre-building Condo Contest and 1st place in the Artserve Great Florida Bank Florida Landscapes competition. Beachside was chosen for the magazine cover of the April 2007 issue of the Natural Awakenings magazine. The Rotary Club of Cassselbury, Florida selected "Sherbet Bay" for the 2007 calendar cover and the the month of June. Thomas has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University, and is an elected member of the Art Selection Committee for the City of Hollywood in Florida.
